RFEF faces cyberattack and technical errors during Spain-England ticket sales

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) experienced significant technical issues during the public sale of tickets for the upcoming Spain vs. England match. The federation reported a cyberattack involving a “high volume of malicious external traffic” directed at its systems, which forced a temporary suspension of ticket sales to activate security protocols.

In addition to the cyberattack, fans encountered a major error on the ticketing platform. While the official link for the England match appeared non-functional, tickets were being sold under the incorrect section for the Spain vs. Croatia match scheduled for September 29. This discrepancy caused widespread confusion among supporters attempting to purchase seats for the match set to take place on November 15 at the Riyadh Air Metropolitan.
