RFEF honors Spanish beach soccer teams for historic European double

The Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) held a ceremony to honor the Spanish men’s and women’s beach soccer national teams following their historic double European championship at the 2026 Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinal in Viareggio.

This achievement marks an unprecedented milestone, as both the men’s and women’s squads secured continental titles in the same edition of the competition. RFEF President Rafael Louzán praised the teams’ incredible performance, stating that the federation will continue to fight for the growth of beach soccer.

The ceremony, held at the Ciudad del Fútbol in Las Rozas, recognized the players and technical staff for their dedication. Notable contributors included players from various regional clubs and specialized technical staff, such as nutritionists, who supported both national squads during their successful campaign.
