RÜFÜS DU SOL to pause touring to focus on new music

Australian electronic music trio RÜFÜS DU SOL has announced plans to pause touring following the conclusion of their ‘Inhale / Exhale’ world tour. The group intends to focus on writing and recording new music before returning to live performances.

During a performance at the Kia Forum on August 6, member Tyrone Lindqvist informed the audience that the group would not be touring for a significant period until new material is ready. This decision follows a highly successful touring cycle that included sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden and the Kia Forum, as well as a historic headline performance at Chicago’s Wrigley Field, making them the first electronic act to headline the venue.

The hiatus reflects the band’s recent emphasis on balancing touring with creative studio time. While no specific timeline for their next release has been provided, the move signals a shift toward dedicated music production.
