RGB‑Mini LED TV sales projected to hit up to 500,000 units by 2026
Market research from RUNTO predicts global sales of RGB‑Mini LED televisions will reach between 400,000 and 500,000 units in 2026, with China accounting for more than 85% of that volume. Chinese manufacturers dominate the market, with Hisense holding roughly 70% of the global share and TCL close to 20%, while Samsung and other international brands expand their product lines.
A parallel technology review compares RGB‑LED TVs with Super Quantum Dot (SQD) Mini‑LED sets. RGB‑LED models, offered by brands such as Hisense, Samsung, LG, Sony and TCL, deliver very bright, saturated colors but can suffer from color‑crosstalk and less‑precise black levels. SQD, used exclusively by TCL, builds on quantum‑dot technology and proprietary algorithms to improve color purity while avoiding some of the RGB‑LED drawbacks.
