RGG Studio launches Yakuza Blocks: Like a Dragon on Roblox

Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has released a licensed multiplayer experience titled “Yakuza Blocks: Like a Dragon” on the Roblox platform. Developed by GeekOut, the game recreates the iconic Kamurocho setting, specifically the Tenkaichi street area, using the Roblox engine.

While the original console franchise is rated for adults, this Roblox version is designed for a general audience. It retains core series elements, including street fighting with various combat styles, Heat Action mechanics, and character attribute distribution across Mind, Technique, and Body. The experience also features minigames inspired by the series’ signature side activities.

Players can engage in exploration, leveling up, and cooperative play. The game includes microtransactions for character cosmetics, such as outfits for Kiryu, which developers state will influence future updates and expansions based on community engagement and sales.
