Rögle defeats Frölunda in SHL comeback victory

Rögle secured a comeback victory against Frölunda at the Scandinavium, marking Frölunda's first home loss of the season. Despite an early 2-0 lead for the home side through goals by Max Friberg and Graeme Clarke, Rögle dominated much of the match.

Linus Sandin led the comeback for Rögle, scoring both the equalizer and a subsequent goal to turn the tide. Frölunda captain Max Friberg and coach Robert Ohlsson both noted the team's lack of intensity and defensive lapses, stating they struggled to stop Rögle's offensive pressure in their own zone.

Prior to this matchup, Rögle had defeated Frölunda 4-1 in Ängelholm. The recent loss leaves Frölunda facing criticism regarding their defensive stability and ability to maintain momentum after strong starts.
