RHDP Parliamentary Group completes tour of five Côte d'Ivoire regions

The RHDP Parliamentary Group has completed a new tour across five regions in Côte d'Ivoire, including Gontougo, Sud-Comoé, Gbêkê, Mé, and Kabadougou. Between September 13 and 20, 2026, deputies met with local populations to report on the outcomes of the National Assembly’s first ordinary session of the year.

During these visits, lawmakers presented approximately ten legislative texts deemed of direct interest to citizens, such as the 2026-2030 National Development Plan (PND), reforms regarding SMEs, rural land management, and social and solidarity economics.

In Bondoukou, the delegation, led by National Assembly Vice-President Ouattara Brahima, engaged with local leaders and residents. Discussions focused on community needs, including access to water, road infrastructure, healthcare, electricity, and teacher housing. Residents also raised concerns regarding illegal gold mining and the need for more local secondary schools.
