Rhea Chakraborty eliminated from The Traitors India Season 2

Rhea Chakraborty has been eliminated from the eighth episode of Amazon Prime Video’s reality show, ‘The Traitors India Season 2’. Despite playing as an ‘Innocent’, Chakraborty faced suspicion during the ‘Circle of Doubt’ and received the most votes from her fellow contestants, leading to her exit.

During her emotional farewell, Chakraborty remarked that the experience felt like ‘deja vu’, a reference to the public scrutiny and legal investigations she faced following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020. She maintained her innocence, stating, ‘How dare you? I am an innocent. Always have been, always will be.’

Other notable developments in the season include the exposure of Shahneel Gill and the recruitment of Rida Tharana by Krystle D’Souza into the Traitor group. Other contestants, including Shweta Tiwari and Ansh, have also exited the competition.
