Rhea Ripley captures WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship and shares love of retro PlayStation games
Rhea Ripley defeated Sol Ruca to win the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Italy 2026, becoming the new titleholder. After the match, Ripley responded to comments on social media, subtly referencing former champion Becky Lynch.
In a separate interview on Stephanie McMahon’s “What’s Your Story?” podcast, Ripley revealed that she prefers classic PlayStation titles such as Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon and Ratchet & Clank, played on the original PlayStation 1 and 2 consoles. She said the games were a major part of her childhood and that revisiting them can be both nostalgic and frustrating.
