Rhea Seehorn announces filming for Pluribus Season 2 to begin soon

Production for the second season of the Apple TV+ sci-fi drama Pluribus is expected to commence shortly. Lead actress Rhea Seehorn confirmed she will be leaving “very soon” to begin filming the new season.

Speaking at an Academy Museum event, Seehorn described the premiere script as “absolute bananas.” She expressed enthusiasm about reuniting with creator Vince Gilligan, noting that his scripts are both the most challenging and the best she has worked on. While specific plot details remain under wraps, Seehorn emphasized that Gilligan’s storytelling avoids unnecessary elements, ensuring that every detail included in the series serves a meaningful purpose.

Pluribus, which became Apple TV+’s most-watched series following its debut last November, has faced a lengthy wait for a follow-up. Although previous indications suggested a potential return as late as 2028 due to the ambitious scope of the production, the upcoming start of filming marks a significant step forward for the series.
