Rheinbahn tram line 707 to undergo nightly diversions

Rheinbahn has announced night-time diversions for tram line 707 due to ongoing overhead line renewal work on Oststraße, Tonhallenstraße, Jacobistraße, and Duisburger Straße.

Between August 24 and August 28, the section between Hauptbahnhof and Marienhospital will be closed from 21:00 to 04:00. During these hours, trams heading toward Unterrath will divert via lines 705 and 706 from Bilker Allee/Friedrichstraße, while those heading toward Medienhafen will divert from Marienhospital.

Several stops, including Morsestraße, Fürstenplatz, Helmholtzstraße, Mintropplatz, Hauptbahnhof, and Charlottenstraße/Oststraße, will be relocated or bypassed. Additional bus services on lines 752 and 754 will provide service at the Klosterstraße stop to accommodate the changes.
