Rheingas becomes naming sponsor for Elephants Grevenbroich

The basketball team Elephants Grevenbroich, which competes in the 1. Regionalliga West, will become the ‘Rheingas Elephants Grevenbroich’ starting September 1, 2026. This move expands the existing partnership between the club and the Brühl-based energy company Rheingas.

Uwe Thomsen, managing partner of Rheingas, stated that the decision to become a naming sponsor was driven by the positive development of their previous collaboration and the shared values of team spirit and reliability. The sponsorship is intended to strengthen the company’s connection to the North Rhine-Westphalia region.
