Rhiti Tiwari evicted from Bigg Boss 20 amid family controversy

Rhiti Tiwari, a contestant on the reality show Bigg Boss 20, has been evicted from the program following a mid-week twist. In a departure from the standard audience voting process, three housemates—Uditi, Mahi Vij, and Yung DSA—were tasked with selecting a contestant for immediate removal. The trio reached a unanimous decision to evict Tiwari.

Prior to her eviction, Tiwari was involved in a public controversy involving Punjabi singer Ekam Bawa. Bawa claimed to be Tiwari’s stepfather, sharing images to support his assertion that he lived with Tiwari and her mother, Pratima Pandey, between 2020 and 2025. Tiwari’s legal team has vehemently denied these claims, labeling them “false, baseless” and defamatory. Legal notices have been issued against Bawa, with Tiwari’s representatives stating that civil and criminal actions have been initiated.
