Anker SOLIX unveils Solarbank Max at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026, Anker SOLIX introduced the Solarbank Max, a high-performance energy storage system designed to bridge the gap between simple balcony solar kits and traditional, expensive home PV installations.
The Solarbank Max features a 7 kWh base capacity that can be expanded up to 42 kWh using additional modules. It supports up to 10 kWp of solar input through three MPPTs and can handle up to 20 solar modules. The system offers high output capabilities, reaching up to 4,600 watts with a fixed installation, making it suitable for heavy appliances like heat pumps or electric vehicle chargers.
A key feature is its integrated uninterruptible power supply (UPS), which provides 0-millisecond switching during power outages to keep essential devices like routers and refrigerators running. The system is managed by the AI-driven PowerOS, which optimizes charging and discharging based on weather forecasts and electricity prices, and integrates with smart home platforms like Home Assistant.
