In recent collegiate women's soccer action, both Rhode Island College and Boston University secured 1-0 shutout victories.

Rhode Island College defeated Southern Maine 1-0 at Alumni Stadium. Sophomore midfielder Sarah Pimentel scored the decisive goal in the 65th minute following an assist from Amber Almeida. The victory marks the second conference win for the Anchorwomen and ends a two-game losing streak.

Boston University shut out Loyola Maryland 1-0 in Baltimore. Freshman Sam Ryan scored the game's only goal in the 62nd minute after an assist from Kat Slott. Goalkeeper Bridget Carr contributed three saves to help the Terriers secure the win and hand the Greyhounds their first home loss of the season.
