Rhodes burglar leaves sandwich behind after returning for forgotten cash

An unusual burglary occurred in a shop in Rhodes, Greece, early Sunday morning around 4:00 AM. Security footage captured a man breaking a glass storefront to gain entry to the establishment.

While committing the theft, the perpetrator was holding a sandwich in one hand. After accessing the cash register, which was unlocked, he managed to take both coins and banknotes. However, in his initial exit, he mistakenly left the banknotes behind, taking only the coins and his sandwich.

After exiting the shop and lighting a cigarette, the man realized his mistake and returned to the store. He retrieved the forgotten banknotes and carefully counted them one by one. Upon his final departure, he left the sandwich behind next to the cash register.
