Rhys Wynne-Jones finds success after viral church piano performance

Rhys Wynne-Jones, a 34-year-old man who experienced homelessness for a decade in England, has seen his life transformed after a viral video of him playing the piano surfaced online. The footage, which captured him performing a rendition of Queen’s ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ at St Mary’s Church in Penzance, earned him the nickname ‘The Night Pianist.’

Following the social media attention, Wynne-Jones has secured permanent housing through Coastline Housing in West Cornwall. His newfound visibility has led to opportunities performing alongside celebrities such as Ronnie Wood and Peter Andre, as well as participating in a television program with Andre. He has also raised over £40,000 for charitable purposes and continues to use his platform to support organizations helping vulnerable populations.
