Rhythm Paradise Groove tops Japanese sales chart with nearly 400,000 units

Rhythm Paradise Groove, a rhythm game released on Nintendo Switch on 2 July, features a diverse soundtrack that includes tracks by Japanese and international artists such as Ado, Jacky Halim, Yui Sakurai and others.

In its first week the title surged to the top of Japan's software sales chart, moving approximately 393,000 copies and nearly 400,000 in total, outpacing other new releases like Ganbare Goemon Daishuugou! and Tomodachi Life. The strong performance underscores the game's rapid commercial uptake on the Nintendo platform.

The release also coincides with continued strong demand for Nintendo hardware in Japan, with the Switch 2 remaining the best‑selling console despite a slight delay in reaching six million units.
