Rhythm Station highlights jazz vocalists and Hiroshi Isomi

The radio program Rhythm Station on FM Yamagata featured a special segment on five great female jazz vocalists, highlighting the works of Sarah Vaughan. The broadcast also included original jazz compositions by scriptwriter Momoe Kikuchi.

Additionally, the program introduced the new album ‘Mizu’ by jazz drummer Hiroshi Isomi. Originally from Tsuruoka, Isomi composed the tracks inspired by the natural landscapes of the Shonai region, including its mountains and rivers. The featured tracks from the album included the title song ‘Mizu’ and ‘Maruike-sama’.
