Riau and Batam weather forecast predicts cloudy skies

The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has issued weather forecasts for the Riau province and Batam city.

In Riau, conditions are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy throughout the day. Light local rain has been observed in parts of Indragiri Hilir, with potential light rain also expected in Rokan Hulu and Kampar during the early morning hours. No early weather warnings have been issued for the region.

In Batam, the weather is dominated by cloudy conditions with temperatures expected to reach up to 33 degrees Celsius during the day. While light rain is possible in the morning due to convective activity, the area is generally expected to remain cloudy from midday through the night. Residents are advised to monitor atmospheric changes.
