Indonesia launches vocational training and BRI leadership programs

Several major employment and skill development initiatives have been announced in Indonesia for October 2026.

The Ministry of Manpower (Kemnaker) has opened registration for the 6th Batch of the National Vocational Training (PVN) program. Registration is available from October 1 to October 14, 2026. The program aims to enhance workforce readiness through practical technical skills and character building. In Riau, the local Manpower and Transmigration Office (Disnakertrans) is facilitating this program, offering free training in fields such as garment making, air conditioning maintenance, motorcycle repair, bakery production, and barista skills.

Simultaneously, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk has launched the BRILiaN Future Leader Program (BFLP) Specialist 2026 Wave 4. This recruitment drive is open until October 11, 2026, and features strategic roles in wholesale banking, risk management, micro banking, business enabling, and auditing. The bank emphasizes that the recruitment process is free of charge.
