Riau province lifts fresh palm fruit price to Rp3,846 per kg

The Riau Provincial Agriculture Office set a new purchase price for fresh palm fruit bunches (TBS) at Rp3,846 per kilogram for the week of 22‑28 July 2026, an increase of Rp13.25 (0.35%) over the previous period. The rise was highest for 9‑year‑old palms and reflects higher crude palm oil (CPO) and kernel prices, with CPO up Rp62.56 per kg to Rp15,660 and kernel up Rp30.14 per kg to Rp14,035.

Defris Hatmaja, head of processing and marketing at the office, noted that plasma farmer prices were also adjusted, reaching Rp3,930.55 per kg (a rise of Rp39.58 or 1.02%). The adjustments follow Ministry of Agriculture regulations and aim to improve farmer income and welfare.
