Ribadesella to launch special shuttle service for bridge works

The Government of Asturias will launch a special shuttle service starting Monday to facilitate transportation in Ribadesella. This measure is being implemented while a new deck is installed on the bridge over the estuary.

The shuttle service, managed by the Consorcio de Transportes (CTA), will provide 28 round-trip frequencies on weekdays and 25 on weekends and holidays. The routes are designed to connect the town center with the beach area (El Picu) and facilitate connections to Gijón via the Bones stop.

On weekdays, services will run from 06:15 to 21:15 from El Picu, and from 07:15 to 21:45 from the town. Weekend schedules will operate from 08:45 to 21:45 from El Picu and from 09:15 to 22:15 for return trips from the town. All services are compatible with the CONECTA card, which offers unlimited public transport in Asturias for a monthly fee of 20 euros.
