Ribat Humanitarian Aid Association provides relief and medical student support in Gaza

The Ribat Humanitarian Aid Association is continuing its relief operations in Gaza, providing essential supplies to the population. The organization facilitates the distribution of hot meals, water, tents, flour, and cash assistance through donations from the Turkish public.

In response to the depletion of healthcare resources and the loss of over 3,000 health workers since October 7, the association has launched a call for support to aid medical education. Ribat currently provides scholarships to 400 medical students across four institutions: the Islamic University of Gaza, Al-Isra University, Al-Azhar University, and Palestine University. The association is seeking further donations to ensure these future doctors can continue their studies, noting that the educational cost for one medical student is 3,500 TL.
