Ribeirão Pires Chocolate Festival features 84 vendors, concerts and new Princess
The Chocolate Festival 2026 in Ribeirão Pires runs from 7 to 30 August, occupying the city centre for four weekends. Eighty‑four local businesses, including food‑trucks, gourmet carts and other merchants, are taking part. The programme includes cultural attractions and live music from acts such as Demônios da Garoa, Renato Teixeira, Milton Guedes and others, as well as children's shows and a special project called "Projeto Toca de Novo." A partnership with Chocolândia brings a store to the event, confectionery workshops and training for local entrepreneurs, aimed at boosting sales and creating new business opportunities.
On 24 May, the municipal contest crowned 22‑year‑old Amanda Alves as the Princess of Chocolate 2026. Alves will serve as the official representative of the festival, attending its main activities and promotional actions. The selection, judged by professionals in fashion, beauty, communication and entrepreneurship, also placed Julia Cominatto second and Emily Souza third. Mayor Guto Volpi highlighted the festival’s role in preserving the city’s cultural memory and its economic importance for families and local merchants.
