Ribeirão Preto Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics begins 35th edition planning

Planning is underway for the 35th Congress of Gynecology and Obstetrics in Ribeirão Preto, scheduled for 2027. The Scientific Commission held its first working meeting on August 25 to define themes, courses, formats, and guest speakers for the milestone edition.

The event features significant participation from professors and specialists from the Ribeirão Preto Medical School of the University of São Paulo (FMRP-USP). The congress aims to bridge academic research with clinical practice to address the daily challenges faced by gynecologists and obstetricians.

Dr. Luiz Alberto Ferriani, the founder and president of the congress, stated that the goal is to create a memorable edition that brings together specialists, researchers, and the industry to discuss transformations within the specialty. The 2026 edition included 116 guest speakers from various regions of Brazil.
