Sonorama Ribera Festival Returns to Aranda de Duero with Ribera del Duero as Main Sponsor

The 29th edition of the Sonorama Ribera music and cultural festival will take place in Aranda de Duero, Spain, from 5 to 9 August. Ribera del Duero, the Spanish Denominación de Origen, will act as the principal sponsor, lending its name to the event and the main stage. The wine authority will showcase 52 different wines from its member bodegas through two dedicated Wine Bars—one in the general area and another in the VIP zone—and will serve as the official wine of the festival. Additional activities include public tastings at the Caja Burgos Cultural Centre, concerts in Plaza del Trigo, and a new edition of the Talento Ribera competition. The previous edition attracted a record 200,000 attendees, sold out tickets and served more than 4,700 glasses of wine. Enrique Pascual, president of the Consejo Regulador, said, “Sonorama Ribera represents one of the solidest collaborations between culture and wine in our country,” noting the event’s role in bringing the region’s wines to a broad audience.
