He admitted to spending more on clothing than he earned at times, using credit cards to maintain the high-end image that helped him stand out in the ring.

Flair also critiqued the current state of professional wrestling, suggesting that modern performers rely too heavily on rehearsing and memorizing matches. He contrasted this with his era, where wrestlers had to react organically to crowds due to grueling schedules. He recalled his intense workload in 1983, when he wrestled 454 matches, including 360 hour-long bouts, and highlighted the physical demands of working long-duration matches with peers like Ricky Morton.
