Ric Flair threatens legal action over unauthorized sale of wrestling robes
Professional wrestling legend Ric Flair has threatened legal action against individuals allegedly selling his iconic wrestling robes without proof of ownership. Following an appearance with Dynasty Sports in Philadelphia, Flair took to social media to claim that his memorabilia is being sold by people who lack legitimate receipts or ownership rights.
Flair specifically accused Tiffany VanDemark of stealing five of his robes. He stated that his attorney in Boston will seek legal documentation from those involved, warning that anyone unable to prove they acquired the items legitimately can expect a legal letter. The Hall of Famer emphasized the importance of preserving his career memorabilia as he gets older, noting that the unauthorized sale of his gear is a serious matter.
In response to social media commentary, Flair remarked that his robes are worth more than the houses of his critics and noted that such actions could constitute a felony.
