Ricardo Arjona performs cabaret-themed concert in El Salvador
Guatemalan singer-songwriter Ricardo Arjona kicked off his international tour, “Lo que el seco no dijo,” with a performance at Estadio Cuscatlán in San Salvador. The concert featured a visual concept described by the artist as a “cabaret seco,” utilizing an old-fashioned facade, live musicians, and a Cuban dancer to create an intimate atmosphere.
The musical arrangement included violins, trumpets, percussion, and acoustic guitar. During the two and a half hour show, Arjona performed approximately 30 songs, including hits such as “Gritas,” “Si el norte fuera el sur,” and “El taxista,” for which a yellow taxi appeared on stage.
Arjona shared personal anecdotes regarding his parents and his early career, noting that El Salvador was the first country he visited outside of Guatemala. The event marked the first of two scheduled performances in the country.
