Ricardo Arjona performs surprise concert in Mérida park

Guatemalan singer Ricardo Arjona surprised residents and tourists in Mérida, Yucatán, with an impromptu musical performance at San Juan Park. The appearance occurred on Friday, November 6, 2026, shortly after the artist arrived in the city via private flight.

Accompanied by a group of musicians, including a drummer, bassist, and backing vocalists, Arjona performed songs for passersby. Videos of the event quickly went viral on social media. Local reports suggest the unplanned set may have been related to the recording of audiovisual material.

The park performance took place ahead of Arjona’s scheduled concert at the Kukulcán Baseball Stadium on Saturday, November 7. This event marks the beginning of his “Lo que el Seco no dijo” international tour in Mexico, which includes multiple dates throughout November and December 2026.
