Ricardo César Pérez Manrique lectures on human rights in La Pampa

Ricardo César Pérez Manrique, a judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, delivered a lecture at the National University of La Pampa (UNLPam) regarding the relationship between national judges and international human rights law.

The event was part of the university’s Institutional Academic Program in Human Rights. Pérez Manrique, who served as president of the Inter-American Court during the 2022-2023 period, was accompanied by María Verónica Campo, Minister of the Superior Tribunal of Justice, and Rector Francisco Marull.

During the proceedings, Minister Campo emphasized the importance of ensuring that human rights principles, such as those concerning gender and the rights of children, transcend theoretical declarations to provide practical benefits for citizens within the judicial system.
