Ricardo Darín headlines San Sebastián Film Festival

Argentine actor Ricardo Darín is the featured face of the 74th San Sebastián International Film Festival. His image prominently covers the city of Donostia as part of the festival's official promotion.

Darín arrived in the city to present the world premiere of the black comedy ‘Lo dejamos acá’, directed by Hernán Goldfrid. The film, which stars Darín alongside Diego Peretti, explores themes of mental health through the story of a psychologist who intervenes in his patients' lives in unconventional ways. The film is scheduled to arrive on Netflix on October 16.

During his visit, Darín noted the overwhelming presence of his own image throughout the city, remarking on the scale of the festival's promotional campaign. He previously received the Donostia Award in 2017 and shared the Silver Shell for Best Actor in 2015.
