Ricardo Gallardo Cardona holds 57.9% approval in San Luis Potosí

San Luis Potosí Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona has achieved a 57.9% approval rating, ranking fourth nationally among state governors according to Polls. Mx. This rating places him ahead of leaders in Nuevo León and Mexico City.

In addition to high approval metrics, the governor is implementing various social and infrastructure initiatives across the state. In Moctezuma, the administration is rehabilitating over 5.5 kilometers of roads and installing LED lighting. In Matlapa, the governor delivered school supplies to over 5,000 students, announced the construction of three new schools, and planned the Matlapa-La Ceiba road project.

Other regional efforts include the 'Regreso a Clases 2026' program for student support and the 'Seguridad Alimentaria' program to provide basic goods to families. In Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, a new mobile literacy unit was launched through a partnership between federal, state, and private sectors to reach hard-to-access areas.
