Ricardo Gamundi Rosas elected president of CONACE

Ricardo Gamundi Rosas, founder of the polling firm Electoralia, has been elected unanimously as the president of the National Council of Polling and Public Opinion Houses (CONACE). Gamundi, a former advisor to the Governor of Tamaulipas, took his oath of office in Mexico City this past weekend.

During his inauguration, Gamundi emphasized that “credibility is our most valuable asset” and stated that transparency and respect for public opinion are essential to preserving it.

In the political landscape of Cd. Victoria, discussions are emerging regarding potential candidates for the MORENA party's mayoral selection. Noted names mentioned in relation to the upcoming process include Luis García Reyes, Hugo Reséndez, and Rómulo Pérez Sánchez.
