Claudia Sheinbaum leads nationwide rallies and education campaign as support for her administration grows

The federal education ministry reported that the “Te extrañamos en el salón” campaign, launched by President Claudia Sheinbaum, has reintegrated 20,431 students into the national high‑school system since its start in 2025, with 7,846 students returning in the first half of 2026 alone.

Simultaneously, more than 50 informative assemblies were held across 31 Mexican states, drawing thousands of citizens who pledged support for Sheinbaum’s “Cuarta Transformación” and defended national sovereignty. Party leaders Ricardo Monreal and Héctor Garza urged party members not to abandon the president, emphasizing unity ahead of upcoming elections.

In Tamaulipas, Governor Américo Villarreal highlighted the tangible results of Sheinbaum’s policies, citing social‑welfare programs worth over 24 billion pesos annually that benefit 800,000 residents, as well as new health facilities, housing projects, scholarships, road works and infrastructure improvements.
