Ricardo Montaner hits number one on three Billboard charts

Singer Ricardo Montaner has achieved a triple number-one milestone on the Billboard charts with his song ‘Para que seas feliz’. The track reached the top spot on the Latin Airplay, Latin Pop Airplay, and Regional Mexican Airplay charts.

This achievement marks a significant moment in Montaner’s career, which spans nearly four decades. His first appearance on Billboard charts dates back to 1988 with ‘Tan Enamorados’. The recent success on the Latin Airplay chart is particularly notable, as it represents the longest wait for a first number-one single in the chart's history, spanning 32 years since his first entry in 1996.

According to Luminate, ‘Para que seas feliz’ saw a 39% increase in audience impressions, reaching 8.9 million in the United States during the tracking week of September 18 to 24. The song was composed by Nathan Galante, Horacio Palencia, Edgar Barrera, and Ricardo Montaner, and features a collaboration with Edén Muñoz on the Regional Mexican Airplay chart.
