Ricardo Salinas Pliego offers TV Azteca airtime to Jorge Amílcar Olán Aparicio

Businessman Ricardo Salinas Pliego has publicly offered the broadcasting platforms of TV Azteca to Jorge Amílcar Olán Aparicio. The offer aims to allow Olán to respond to various allegations regarding his business activities and government contracts following journalistic investigations.

This proposal follows a report in which a journalist located Olán in Lugano, Switzerland. During the encounter, Olán reportedly requested police intervention to prevent further recording. Salinas Pliego also raised questions regarding Olán’s relationship with Andrés Manuel López Beltrán.

Separately, a federal court in Tabasco has dismissed a commercial lawsuit filed against Olán and his company, Diagnóstico Biomolecular. The lawsuit, brought by Biogénica Laboratorios Clínicos, sought the payment of approximately 239,537 pesos for unpaid clinical analysis supplies. The creditor had requested a precautionary seizure of a bank account, but the court ultimately rejected the claim.
