Ricaurte inaugurates new solidarity supply point for rural development

The municipality of Ricaurte, in collaboration with the Department for Social Prosperity, has officially inaugurated the Solidarity Supply Point (PAS) – Alimentos para la Vida. This infrastructure project, representing an investment of 4.062 billion pesos, is designed to strengthen the rural economy by providing local producers and merchants with dedicated spaces for the transformation, promotion, and commercialization of agricultural products.

The facility includes commercial stalls, a collection center, a community kitchen, multipurpose areas, sanitary modules, and administrative zones. It is estimated that the project will benefit approximately 16,400 inhabitants, facilitating better connections between rural producers and regional food demand.
