Riccardo Calafiori gifts jersey to young fan after Turkey-Italy match

Following the Nations League match between Turkey and Italy, Arsenal defender Riccardo Calafiori gained attention for a gesture toward a young Turkish fan. Although Calafiori remained on the bench for the duration of the match, he entered the pitch during the post-game cooldown session.

A young boy approached the player to request his jersey. After initially offering his tracksuit, Calafiori fulfilled the child's request by giving him his number 5 Italy match shirt. The interaction occurred amidst a high-tension environment where the Italian team secured a 4-1 victory, leading to protests from local fans against the Turkish coaching staff.

Italy's victory follows a period of tactical changes under manager Roberto Mancini, while Turkey remains at risk of relegation in the tournament after two matches without a point.
