Riccardo Cocciante launches 2026 tour celebrating 80 years and new album
Italian singer-songwriter Riccardo Cocciante is currently on his 'Io... Riccardo Cocciante nel 2026' tour, which celebrates his 80th birthday and the 50th anniversary of his iconic song 'Margherita'.
During a recent performance at the Sferisterio in Macerata, Cocciante emphasized his preference for authentic music, stating, “This is the music we like to make, without effects and without autotune.” The concert featured his new album, 'Ho vent'anni con te', which marks his first collection of unreleased tracks in twenty years.
The tour includes upcoming dates in Barletta on September 15, Milan on September 19, and concludes at the Arena di Verona on September 27. In addition to the live performances, Cocciante's recent artistic projects include the docufilm 'Il mio nome è Riccardo Cocciante' on RaiPlay and the return of his musical 'Notre Dame de Paris' to Italian theaters.
