Riccardo Montresor and Sofia Toniolo win Trail delle Mura

The 2026 edition of the Trail delle Mura concluded in Verona with over 1,100 participants. The event featured two main segments: a competitive 17 km FIDAL course and a non-competitive 8 km Family Night Trail.

In the men's 17 km competition, Riccardo Montresor of Atletica Insieme Verona secured first place with a time of 1:06:17. He was followed by Michele Lazzaroni in second and Mirko Marchi in third. In the women's category, Sofia Toniolo of Bolf Team A.S.D. took first place with a time of 1:13:45, ahead of Claudia Andrighettoni and Alice Papotti.

The event also included a charitable component, donating 600 euros to the Associazione Oncologica Italiana Mutilati della Voce ODV, an organization supporting individuals with oncological pathologies and head and neck diseases.
