Riccardo Simonetti debuts with husband at book launch

German entertainer and author Riccardo Simonetti made his first public appearance with his husband, Steven, during a book launch event at the Ritz-Carlton in Berlin. The event celebrated the presentation of Simonetti’s fifth book, titled ‘Wann ist ein Mann ein Mann?!’ (When is a man a man?!), which explores various concepts of masculinity.

Simonetti, 33, noted that while he typically keeps his partner out of the spotlight to maintain a boundary between his professional and private life, he felt it was essential to have Steven present for this milestone. He stated that it would not have felt right to spend the evening without him, especially as Steven supported him throughout the writing process.

The couple has been together for several years, having publicly announced their engagement in November 2023 and their marriage in August 2024. In discussing his book, Simonetti expressed a desire for more acceptance for men who do not conform to traditional ideals, defining a man as someone who lives life by his own rules.
