Riccione announces rent assistance program for local families

The Riccione socio-sanitary district has announced a call for applications for rent assistance for residents across its 14 municipalities. From September 22 to October 20, eligible citizens can apply for non-repayable financial contributions to help cover private market rental costs.

Funded by the Emilia-Romagna Region’s 2026 Rent Fund, the program offers up to 2,000 euros per household. The total amount of funding will be determined based on the number of applications received. Last year, the district processed 776 applications, resulting in over 735,000 euros in distributed aid.

Mayor Daniela Angelini stated that the initiative aims to address the rising cost of living and ensure the right to housing by supporting vulnerable families and preventing involuntary delinquency.
