Riccione hosts diverse cultural and sporting events

Riccione is hosting a diverse series of cultural, sporting, and environmental events this weekend. The schedule includes the 'Riccione Italy Riviera Open 2026' pickleball tournament at the PlayHall 'Massimo Pironi', featuring various categories and age groups.

Artistic and musical activities include an open day for a children's musical preparatory course and the closing of Angela Filippini's exhibition, 'I cercatori di stelle. Quando la materia tende alla luce', at Villa Franceschi. Additionally, the town will host its traditional antique and collectibles market in Riccione Paese and an 'Adriatic Heroes Day' beach clean-up at the mouth of the Marano river.

In a separate cultural series titled 'L’angolo dell’avventura Rimini-Riccione', the Riccione Municipal Library will host a presentation on Yemen and Socotra. Explorer Gian Maria Mazza will use video and storytelling to showcase the unique artistic and cultural heritage of the region, while reflecting on the fragility of its heritage due to ongoing political conflicts.
