Italy celebrates regional traditions and maritime heritage

Various regional cultural and lifestyle events are taking place across Italy. In Reggio Calabria, the Rai 1 program ‘Linea Blu – Porti d’Italia’ will feature the Strait of Messina, exploring its marine biodiversity, the unique train-on-ship ferry system in Villa San Giovanni, and the ongoing development of the Mediterranean Museum.

Other regional highlights include a traditional piadina cooking class in Riccione involving local mayors, and the presentation of a book celebrating the culinary traditions of Filicudi and Alicudi. In Castellamonte, the CNA celebrated its 80th anniversary by honoring local artisans. Additionally, seasonal programming such as ‘Vista Mare’ will showcase the landscapes and traditions of southern Sardinia.
