Riccione: Rescued fish transferred to Oasi Arcobaleno nursery

In Riccione, numerous young carp, chub, and crucian carp rescued during the draining of the Conca dam on August 26 have been transferred to the Oasi Arcobaleno. The fish were moved to the oasis’s small lake to provide a protected environment for growth and reproduction, serving as a preliminary step toward establishing a nursery for young specimens.

The rescue operation was coordinated by the Emilia-Romagna Region and Romagna Acque, supported by local volunteers from various associations. Riccione's Environment Councilor, Christian Andruccioli, highlighted the importance of the synergy between institutions and volunteers in protecting watercourse biodiversity.
