Rice and paddy prices remain stable in Mekong Delta

Rice and paddy prices in Vietnam's Mekong Delta remained largely stable on October 24, 2026. According to updates from the An Giang Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, export raw rice varieties such as IR 504, CL 555, and OM 18 showed little fluctuation.

Specific raw rice prices included OM 5451 ranging from 9,300 to 9,400 VND/kg and Dai Thom 8 between 9,200 and 9,400 VND/kg. In retail markets, Dai Thom 8 saw a slight increase of 500 VND/kg, trading at 15,500 to 16,000 VND/kg. Other retail prices included Jasmine rice at 17,000 to 18,000 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice at 28,000 VND/kg.

Paddy prices also remained steady, with fresh Dai Thom 8 paddy priced between 6,300 and 6,500 VND/kg and IR 50404 paddy at 5,900 to 6,100 VND/kg. In the by-products segment, broken rice prices rose slightly by 100 VND/kg to 9,400–9,500 VND/kg, while bran prices decreased by 100 VND/kg to 7,850–8,100 VND/kg.
