Richa Chadha supports anti-CEC protests in Delhi

Indian actress Richa Chadha has expressed support for the anti-CEC protests occurring at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. In a social media post, Chadha shared a makeup tutorial intended to help individuals evade facial recognition technology during the demonstrations.

Chadha also urged Delhi residents to participate in the protests despite reported restrictions on travel routes and locomotives into the capital. She advised demonstrators to carry water and use masks, caps, and sunglasses to maintain anonymity.

Several other members of the Indian film industry have voiced support for the Citizens for Justice and Peace (CJP) demonstrations. Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, actor Prakash Raj, and filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane have all used social media to comment on the protests or criticize the government's response to public dissent.
