Richard David Precht reveals himself as a Bushido fan

During a recent episode of the “Lanz & Precht” podcast, philosopher Richard David Precht surprised co-host Markus Lanz by revealing himself to be a fan of the rapper Bushido.

The discussion involved a retrospective of a 2011 ZDF talk show appearance where Precht, Bushido, and rapper Sido engaged in a heated debate regarding misogynistic and homophobic rap lyrics. While Lanz noted that he has made peace with the past and enjoys Sido’s music, he expressed that he finds little appeal in Bushido’s work.

In contrast, Precht highly recommended Bushido’s collaboration with Karel Gott, titled “Forever Young.” Precht described the track as “really great cinema” and noted that he played the song to mark his 50th birthday.
